Chicken Burgers
These burgers freeze very well. Prepare as directed here and freeze Place squares of grease proof paper between each burger to prevent from sticking.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


1 kilo mince chicken breast
1 ½ cups stale slice bread crumbs
2 eggs beaten
salt and pepper
parsley
chopped up cheese, such as peppato, brie, cheddar, emmenthal
oregano

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients (except for cheese) together until combined well. 

Form patties with the mixture, placing chopped cheese in the centre, continue to form patties around the cheese.

Shallow fry in hot pan for 20 minutes.

makes 4 large, 6 medium or 8 small
